I came across your blog by accident, I can share with you my experience in my church. I’m going to St. George and St. Antony coptic orthodex church which is one of the most reputable churches all over the world with the great no. of martyrs who killed for the crime of only being christians. I do love my church and the rich service in it. you may check akll ministeries online (http://www.orthodoxy.ca). recently, a new church , following the same faith, was established to speak to canadians mainly (although that st. Antony church service is mostly in English with Arabic and coptic language too). This new mission is completely in English and all services are hold in the same location which is in east of ottawa. I believe if you attend it once, you will never think about leaving it. I love the spirit of love in the community and the two Priests serving this community. I love also to learn my kids how to be a strong christians defending thier faith as the martyrs that some of their relics are found in St. Antony church. I believe that it is not the time to be just christians but it is a time to stand up and be a strong christians. I got two kids boy and girl and my daughter just turned two years old and she enjoys the sunday school.
I’m not promoting this but sharing this experience with you. May the lord guide you to the best.
